Government Authority located in Trenton, New Jersey; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for assessment of water works geographic information system.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide assessment of water works geographic information system for a
hosted enterprise geodatabase containing all required Trenton Water Works features to the government authority located in Trenton, NJ.
- Further implementation of ArcGIS Online subscription with setup/configuration of a
“web maps and apps” gallery plus provision of app URLs for direct linking within the city of city website, establish procedures to allow several departments the ability to collect GIS data utilizing existing hardware and the Esri collector app.
- GIS consultants to provide the following services related to GIS implementation Assessment of TWW current GIS, Assist TWW with developing a system to survey and collect new and existing
data for the distribution system, convert hardcopy and digital infrastructure records to GIS format to support GIS functions and applications as identified in the GIS needs assessment, develop and upload data into a web-based interface to deploy GIS datasets over the internet for field and office use, Provide on-going hosting and GIS maintenance services for the web-based GIS and training to the end users for field and office personnel, develop and implement asset management for water distribution system.
- Ability for Trenton Water Works personnel to view, edit and manage the GIS data online, Have and operational GIS website and mobile GIS application up and running on a dedicated web server within six (6) weeks upon receiving data from city water works, host and maintain the GIS website on a qualified server owned and managed at their site of business by consultant personnel not on a third-party network or “cloud” based for two (2) years, provide backup power and redundancy and backup service to minimize any service interruptions, set up a scheduled batch program that will automatically copy updated GIS data from the city water works GIS server to an FTP server on a scheduled basis and well as from the vendor back to the city water works any layers that are being edited by the city water works, maintain the GIS website with any maintenance of upgrades to the user interface on its website, develop and upload data into a web-based interface to deploy GIS datasets over the internet for field and office use and design and develop custom workflow for varies office and publish them into ArcGIS Online.
