(1) Vendor needs to provide GIS analyst services to the government authority located in Georgia.– Assists in maintaining road records and right of way deeds in both GIS and archival software.– Assists other GIS staff with stormwater records, stormwater data maintenance, and stormwater inspections.– Assists with addressing and road naming responsibilities of the GIS department.– Subdivision Review duties include geodatabase design, data development, CADD–to–GIS data conversion; GPS field collection, programming, development of QA/QC procedures, needs assessments, preparation of metadata, and professional cartographic production for publication and public display.– Creates Arc/GIS projects according to desired specifications of layers needed, title desired, paper size, number of copies, colors, neat lines/north arrow/legends, annotation placement, and scale.– Digitizes information; creates, manipulates, and maintains database; compares/QC zoning information, and tax digest.– Provides help and assistance to the general public by providing any information requested including, but not limited to, certain tasks such as making and selling corresponding maps.– Builds data using GPS, aerial photography, information stored in files or filing cabinets for review by project manager or any other co–worker above current status.– Creates and prints map products as requested; plots various size maps; distributes GIS mapping products.– Uses various scanner software; maintains GIS scanner performance by running a scanner maintenance program on the scanner’s computer, cleaning the glass and completing a camera stitching program, etc.(2) This is not RFP; this is job posting.
