[A] Budget: looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide GIS audit services for evaluating the TRWD Enterprise GIS environment and provide feedback that identifies gaps and opportunities for the improvement of the overall system to the government authority located in Texas.
- Review existing Enterprise GIS hardware, software, applications, workflow, and data
- Assess GIS business needs throughout the District and identify opportunities for improvement and/or new applications
- Report current trends in GIS hardware and software currently used by TRWD and recommend actions needed to upgrade and/or maintain the Enterprise GIS environment
- Identify and recommend methods, procedures, and applications that would improve both GIS
- Administrators and end users interaction with TRWD’s Enterprise GIS
- Compare TRWD’s Enterprise GIS to the current implementations and trends of the water resource, utility and pipeline related industries
- Rate and assess TRWD’s Enterprise GIS with respect to GIS best practices and industry standards
- Prepare a report documenting the findings and recommendations found throughout the audit process to include: Detailed documentation of the assessment and recommendations gathered from tasks above
Recommend an Enterprise GIS Strategic Plan that outlines both action items and budgeting for the next five years
- Evaluate TRWD’s Enterprise GIS security by identifying vulnerabilities within the web GIS system and recommend actions to enhance protection from potential threats.
(2) All questions had been submitted no later than May 4, 2021.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
