(1) Vendor needs to provide GIS manager services to the government authority located in Georgia.– Supervises, directs and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining and completing employee performance appraisals.– Coordinates daily work activities, organizes, prioritizes and assigns work, monitors status of work in progress and inspects completed work, consults with assigned staff, assists with complex or problem situations, and provides technical expertise.– Develops and implements division budget, monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budget, makes budgetary recommendations for other departments in relation to GIS/GPS computers and equipment.– Provides technical support services to GIS staff and departmental users, provides training in GIS/GPS technology, trains GIS staff and departmental users in the principals of GIS systems, to include quality control procedures, data development, design, maintenance and cartographic principals; provides GIS/GPS expertise to the city and to state/federal agencies as needed.– Oversees, coordinates and assists with GIS operations and activities, supervises design and development of spatial/tabular databases and topological editing, supervises maintenance of GIS datasets, supervises sophisticated analytical analysis, GIS application programming, complex cartographic design and production, complex spatial and database queries and three–dimensional modeling, creates data dictionary according to established standards.– Oversees, coordinates and performs various technical functions in support of computer operations, serves as GIS database administrator and develops, maintains, and designs county–wide GIS database, serves as systems administrator for numerous computers, servers, plotters, print servers, and related components, serves as NT network administrator, serves as software administrator, trains GIS and departmental staff in operation of various software programs utilized within the division.– Designs enterprise GIS systems for the county and deploys technology.(2) This is a brief information; Main RFP Document is not available on our website.
